01 — The story
From websites to complete systems
Novamedia was founded in 2006 and started where most technology companies start: building websites. The projects grew with the clients — websites became web systems, web systems became custom software, and the software called for integrations, hosting, and daily operations.
Today the company runs its own software products used daily by Icelandic businesses, alongside specialist brands in web design, e-commerce, and hosting. That experience — carrying responsibility for production systems around the clock — shapes how we work for clients.
