How we handle information

Novamedia ehf., Icelandic registration number 540606-2260, is the controller for the processing described here. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hallo@novamedia.is.

When you submit an enquiry or needs assessment, we process the information you choose to provide so we can reply and prepare a realistic assessment or proposal.

• Name, email address, phone number, and company.
• Project description, area of interest, timeline, and budget range.
• Needs-assessment answers and the recommendations it produces.
• Page URL, referrer, and UTM information when present.

Information is used to respond to enquiries, prioritise follow-up, prepare an engagement, and protect the service from abuse. Enquiries are generally reviewed and deleted within 24 months if no business relationship begins, unless law or legitimate interests require longer retention.

Stats provides website measurement without cookies. Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers it.

Spjallbox loads only when you accept optional cookies. The chat may store data to remember the conversation and keep the service working.

We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, live chat, and abuse prevention. These include Vercel, SMTP2GO, Stats, Spjallbox, and Upstash. They process information under agreements and their own security and privacy terms.

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction and object to processing where applicable. Contact hallo@novamedia.is. You may also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority.
