Implementation
Mottó can be set up without a developer. You can run the implementation yourselves, or have Novamedia handle it with you.
Name, company ID, and email. You start on a 14-day trial and no payment card is required.
You decide what the club is called and the exact wording people agree to. This can be finished later.
Existing contacts are imported with their origin and consent where it exists, or added as inactive until consent is confirmed.
The sign-up form gets a link you can share, print as a QR code, or add to your site. Nothing goes out until you decide.

Mottó is a loyalty and marketing platform for Icelandic companies. It collects sign-ups, keeps a record of consent you can show, sends email and SMS, and runs automated flows.
You need to be able to show where and when consent was given. When contacts are imported, Mottó records the origin, date, and exact wording people agreed to — or they're imported as inactive until consent is confirmed.
The plan includes a handful of SMS parts to start. Extra parts are bought upfront — ISK 19 per part, or ISK 17.50 per part when buying 10,000 or more at once. Icelandic characters make a message 70 characters per part instead of 160.
Yes. You choose both channels and each recipient only gets the channel they've consented to. SMS can also be limited to people who don't click the email within a chosen window, which is the usual way to cut SMS cost.
Mottó AI writes subject lines, copy, and suggested audiences, and explains the numbers on your dashboard. It never sends anything without approval, never changes consent or suppression, and never exceeds your discount or cost limits.
Your first form can be live in under half an hour, with a first campaign sent the same day. Import and consent review usually take a few days. Assisted setup is available.
